Step 1: Ensuring that your Foundant Information is up to date

 Time Stamp 4:00 – 4:30

Foundant is VCA’s online grant portal, where we maintain your organization’s main contact information. We recommend reviewing your account at least once a year, and anytime your organization experiences changes, such as staff or leadership changes, address updates, and most importantly, make sure your email addresses are up to date, because that’s how we send award notifications and payment updates.

Login in to Foundant here.

Step 2: Ensuring you have an updated Virginia W-9 form on file

 Time Stamp 4:00 – 4:30

The Virginia W-9 collects the tax and entity information the Commonwealth needs in order to process your payments. These forms are processed by one of our partner agencies, the Virginia Department of Accounts.

Step 3: Get acquainted with eVA

eVA is the Commonwealth of Virginia Electronic Procurement and Business System and is used by Virginia state agencies to manage procurement activity, suppliers to update account information effectively for grant payments. For applicants with existing eVA accounts, please ensure that your EVA account information, including mailing addresses, are accurate and up-to-date.
